The Mountain Pedaler of Vail was
founded in 1993 with a simple philosophy. Provide the customer
with the best bikes and service available at a fair price.

For the first two years, the Mountain Pedaler was located in the
living room of founder Jim (Pope) Popeck's house. But soon, word
of mouth spread and the demand for Jim's services and custom
bicycles forced him to move to his present location in Minturn
near Vail,
Colorado in 1997.
In 1999, Charlie Brown became a partner and opened a second
location in Eagle, Colorado. Today, both locations stock frames
from Aegis, Independent Fabrications, Maverick American and
Intense. We also carry complete bikes from Kona, Litespeed and
Marin.
