Officially that is the gist of it, but what is left unsaid is where all the richness and depth of Turner Bikes lies. And that story begins quite before Turner Suspension Bicycles Incorporated even existed and thrives on the people who both toil over every frame that leaves here to every rider that flows down their favorite trail.

Turner Bicycles founder David Turner has been at the forefront of MTB suspension since the technology's inception in the 1980's. As a professional racer, David helped designers at Rock Shox, Mongoose and AMP Research race-test and fine-tune early advancements in suspension design. After retiring from full-time competition, David worked with legendary design guru Horst Leitner to create some of the most progressive and lightweight suspension bicycle frames and forks the sport had ever seen.

Turner Bikes was started out of David Turner's garage in Eagle, CO.

Turner Flux (Pro-Build Kit)

The Flux is a 100mm travel cross country bike carrying the great tradition of Turner handling, uncompromised quality and now dw-link efficiency. For 2009 the bar has been raised with cross country specific pivot and frame design. All of the dw-link locations have been optimized resulting in snappy acceleration with uninhibited suspension travel.

With twenty nine inch wheels and 120mm of travel, the updated 29r from Turner is for everyone who loves the 29 inch wheel characteristics and now can utilize those big wheels with a class leading 120mm of dw-link travel. David Turner and Dave Weagle really did their homework on the Sultan.
